I was thinking about this idea on New Year’s Eve, which is where the piece starts, at a show at the Brooklyn Paramount. There we were, a few thousand people and Robyn, ready to do this—singing, strobes, sweat, euphoria—all over again, knowing that, together, we could make it still feel new.
