In tone and in its roving interest in its subject matter, “The New Yorker at 100” is akin to an issue of the magazine in documentary form. At a première screening of the documentary at this year’s New Yorker Festival, on October 25th, I spoke with Curry and Judd Apatow, an executive producer of the film, about how they approached the project, the challenges of interviewing journalists, and their own relationships to The New Yorker.
