Lately Corona has been in the headlines over a legal fight with the billionaire Berlusconi family’s Mediaset television group. The media company has sued him for defamation, claiming €160mn of damages over allegations about the personal lives of Mediaset chief executive Pier Silvio Berlusconi and his sister, publisher Marina Berlusconi, as well as separate accusations against the network’s leading anchors. It has successfully petitioned a judge to halt Corona’s YouTube broadcasts.
