Oil prices have risen 30 per cent since the fighting started, with benchmark Brent crude hitting $85 a barrel on Tuesday, the highest level since July 2024. But so far there are few signs of panic: crude remains well below the $128 reached after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
