When Bonheur opens today (November 4), it will be one of the most keenly anticipated and ambitious restaurants to launch in London this year, and I have been given an exclusive preview. There are three menus: a five- and seven-course tasting, each entirely different from the other, as well as an à la carte option. All are seasonally focused and showcase the classic technique, skill and precision that Abé became known for at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay (London’s longest-running three-star restaurant) — and, for the first time, his total creative freedom.
